Michelle is 46 and lives in Montana.  She and her husband Kevin own The Helper Brands and create tool belts for the automotive detailing industry, janitorial industry, and consumer household market as well as Rugged Restore, an off road brand of detailing and cleaning supplies.

As a child, Michelle developed a love for the outdoors while spending her summers living in a camper with her family, traveling on fishing trips throughout the northwest. In 1995, she married Kevin, and they had two daughters. Michelle devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mom, while also pursuing her passion for baking and cake decorating.

In 2008, she and her husband, both believers that you learn more in life from experience than textbooks, took their girls out of school and traveled the country for 3 months, going 12,000 miles through 34 states, hitting historical and educational stops all along the way. This sparked their love for travel and soon after they began homeschooling their kids and living a life focused on travel, adventure and experience.

In 2014, Michelle hit a big obstacle in life when chronic back pain grew severe and her life was overcome by it, causing her to lose much of her mobility and extremely limiting her daily activities. She spent over a year, in and out of doctor offices, trying to get help for the pain, to no avail. In September 2015, she traveled Los Angeles to have an adult stem cell procedure done. With hope and prayer, the procedure was a success and Michelle eventually found relief from most of her pain and began to live life again. This gave her a whole new appreciation for her health and she vowed to start doing the things she wanted to do, instead of just dreaming about them.

Facing the empty nest, Michelle has been determined to live this next stage of life learning new things and taking on new adventures. She recently bought a Jeep Rubicon that she is working, with her husband, to rebuild and modify into her dream Jeep. She has named it Sugar High to also capture her love for baking. She is fulfilling her dreams to learn mechanics and bodywork through the project. Her next dream was to learn off-road driving skills and navigation. This is what led her to the Rebelle Rally in 2016.

She desires to show women that you are never too old to learn something new and that the empty nest doesn’t have to be the end our your life, it can actually be the beginning of a whole new adventure.

Kevin is 47 and lives in Montana with his bride Michelle. Together, they own The Helper Brands and create tool belts for the automotive detailing industry, janitorial industry, and consumer household market.

In addition, they also own Rugged Restore Off-Road, a company that supplies high quality detailing supplies for the off-road hobby.

As an entrepreneur, Kevin is definitely not risk averse, typically taking on challenges that will continue to expand his knowledge and experience. An avid traveler, he works hard to achieve a “say yes to life” philosophy, and is excited to see what this next phase of life has in store.

Kevin became a car guy at a very early age, and began building his first hot rod at the age of 14. Over the last 30 years, he has built and rebuilt many vehicles, including the latest build with Michelle, Sugar High. From hot rods to 4×4’s, Kevin enjoys building, driving, and caring for vehicles of all types.

He is excited to have the opportunity to show other couples that finding a fun hobby or project to do with your spouse can be a great way to continue to build your relationship. After 21 years of marriage, Kevin is happy to say that it just keeps getting better!
